I got them 3 years ago and am still running on them. Initially, dry handling is horrible, snow handling is incredible, and the wet is pretty good. My only regret is not studding them. The ice scares me.

I'm on my third winter with them and I thought that I would need to replace them because of wear but with the two snow storms we've had recently, the STILL did better than new Arctic Aplins in the snow. They handle much better in the dry as they age and the tread wears down. The rubber is certainly suited to colder climates. When it gets very cold, they feel like a normal tire.

I paid $645 for the combo in 185/65/15 a few years ago. It was a good investment. Best of luck,
