there is a correct orientation of the bar. The square mounting blocks are not welded symmetrically to the bar. Look where the block is welded close to the top quadrant of the bar. Looks kind of like a capital letter "P" on its side. Mount the bar so that the blocks are on top and the bar is away from the suspension. You'll see what I am trying to describe.
I installed mine, re-read past posts on the topic and discovered I had mine on upside down. Took about 20 minutes to remove and re-install.
for me it was easier to first loosely install the hardware on the right side (locktite on bolts). I then moved over to the muffler side (the pain in the arse side) I locktited the bolts, and torqued the left side. I then moved back to the right and torqued those bolts.
You may want to try mounting the bolts so the head is behind the brake lines. This may make getting the nuts on the bolts easier.
You will find the way that is easiest for you. Wear old clothes!
Anyone know what would happen if you do mount the bar upside down?
