I did IDS delivery in 1995 on a 900. A GREAT experience, and I plan to do it again soon. At that time (and I don't think it has changed), Saab had a fixed price for Euro delivery. The dealer has a LITTLE wiggle room, but not much.
Unless you are planning a European vacation, then I think (given incentives, which I don't think apply to euro delivery), you can probably get a better deal taking delivery at the local dealer. Keep in mind that if you plan to drive the car there, you also have to pay for insurance (Saab has it all set up for you, so you don't need to worry with the detail, but it is an additional cost). The Saab USA web sight has a pretty good run down on the program...
