Fasten Belts back light -- update from earlier post.

Hey All,
FYI. I had to replace my back light to the Fasten Belts light on the dash (above SID). It was quite easy. First, I just used a small standard screw driver to remove the SID, carefully. I just let the SID dangle. Others might want to unplug it and set it aside. The light is just above, inside the dash. Easy to get to despite the small space. I pulled out the light fixture by wiggling it out of it's slot. The bulb comes out easy too, I just carefully pulled it out of the fixture. Upon inspecting the bulb I noticed it was smoked. An indication it was bad. I could not see the filaments good enough to be sure. I went to my nearest auto parts store with the bulb, I was assured by the clerk that the bulb was bad. The smoked bulb being the indication that it was bad. I feared that it might be something else, thankfully, it was just the bulb. The clerk cross referenced his computer and found a matching bulb (two bulbs for under $3.00). I wish I remember what the part number was. I will post follow up later with the parts number. Anyway, I replaced the bulb and reinserted everything and the back light works. Now my Fasten Belts light is lit up nice and bright as I drive my Saab down the roads of PA (just joking, I do were my safety belts). BTW, thank you jbradley for your post.
