Not positioned against the G35...

...Yet. The 175 horse car has more power than all of it's direct european competetors with the exception of the 325i, which has 181hp if I remember correctly. The G35 is an exception to the rule. Nissan bolted an outstanding drivetrain to the car, but short cutted on a lot of the little things that we take forgranted as European highline owners. The G35 certainly makes a statement, but it is on the extreme end of sports sedan. Our Arc and Vector will be much closer to being competetive in the performance race, but, IMO, will have the Expensive European feel that the Infiniti lacks.
I'm, even, slightly let down with the interior in the Z car, but am willing to overlook it because the fun factor is so high. I don't, however, want a true sports sedan to compliment my Z, so my cushy 9-5 demo will stay in the garage.
Here's one to stir everyone up. I've kicking around the idea of leasing a Cadillac Escalade EXT (the Caddy truck). I know, I know, just three months ago, I was calling it an oversized Avalanche, but I need a truck to haul the race trailer, and I know someone who can get me a real deal on a Caddy.:-). I also like the idea of having the covered and lined storage place to stick the toolboxes and spare wheels without giving up the comfort of a true SUV. So what do you think should I go with Gold & Chrome wheels in 20's or 24's (just kidding about the wheels)?
Cheers,
Brian.
