Interior Falling Apart???

Hi All,
Like many here, I immediately installed the sliding center armrest on my base 9-3. It's great. However, today I noticed that the back part of the center console (where the armrest connects) has separated from the rest of the console. It's practically broken off from the rest of the console and won't snap back on. You can look inside and see where the rear air duct goes through and everything.
Any chance this has happened to anyone? Apparently just from the light pressure of my arm on the sliding armrest? Thoughts on how to put it back on?
Any help would be appreciated. I have a feeling the dealer isn't going to cover this under warranty.
Thanks,
-M
