The reason there are a fair number of Viggens for sale is that the Viggen simply ain't for everyone. Some purchased Viggens simply because they liked the way it looks and then grew tired of the seriously tight ride. The Viggen's springs are much stiffer than other 9-3's. Add to that the very squat 215/45-17 tires and you've got what some will consider a rough and unruly ride. Some who bought it for the right reason (performance), found the roads in their area are too bad causing the very lightweight spoked alloy rims to bend ($$$$). Anyone who truly wants powerful thrust & great handling, and lives where roads are good, will love the Viggen. I'm thrilled with mine. Bogus? Drive one & see what you think.
By the way, my summer car is a 1968 Corvette with 390hp/460 ft-lb 427 engine. I talked to multiple previous owners of this car that sold it after a year or so. When asked why, they replied they couldn't stand the rough ride or it sucked too much gas (duh). I've owned it for 18 years now and I swear... it's not bogus either.
