SOunds like a head gasket. to conferm this, pull the sparkplugs to see if coolant is in the cylinders. My guess is thats the case. Once the repair shop(hopfuly the dealer) has determined the root cause and has given you a price for the repair, call saab customer assistance and bitch like hell. Chances are they will spring for part if not all of the repair.
