the only structural difference (in terms of a lifting point) between the little cut-out area for the Saab jack and a spot a few inches up or down the frame rail is the cut-out. What I'm getting at is that I think you can jack the car with the Saab jack, slide a jack stand ('U' or flat style) under the frame rail near the jacking point, slowly lower the jack while watching to make sure that the jack stand isn't sliding away on you. Presto...Saab on jacks. Heck, that's how I did it, and it worked reasonably well.
Thought about driving the thing onto ramps? Maybe that's easier.
