2002 sun green 9-3 convertible here- picked up the car on labor day weekend- A/C was great the few times I had to use it, and ECON setting @ 74-76 heater w/heated seats on are plenty warm enough for Atlanta on a nice sunny day in the winter- I've had the top down quite a few times this winter so far (above 32F). I do use the windscreen as well. I did get a couple of those micro fleece ear warmer/ head bands though- keep em in the door side pockets. I saw one in Eddie Bauer catalog that just goes around the back of the head and want to try that as well- looks nice and might be better for me (cro-mag cranium/forehead guy).
disclaimer: I am from up north (Delaware & D.C.) so my own tolerances may be a bit hardier than if I was from a southern climate.
happy saabing!
