Saab does many 'running changes' during Model years. The NGK PFR7H-10 plug is the platnium plug equivalent to the BCPR7ES copper core plug.
The platnium plugs may last longer (like 30,000 miles) but need to have the gap checked/adjusted at 15,000 miles. The copper core plugs are best changed every 10,000-15,000 miles.
So far, no one on this BB has indictated that the platnium plugs help performance any better than the copper core plugs.
I am currently using the BCPR7ES gapped at 0.039" with no problems.
