On the way to work I looked in my rearview to see a BMW riding just 1ft off my bumper. Tapping the brakes wouldn't get him to back off, so as we came out of the turn I dropped to 3rd and shot onto the interstate, and approached a hard right cloverleaf turn at about 95 with said BMW still right on my ass. Turns out he was in an older-style M3 and was able (duh) to keep up with me pretty well. As we took the cloverleaf at about 50, I got the tell-tale warning and brake lights, as well as some good squeal out of my 17K+ P6000's. I really need to get that SAS bar installed. This whole incident was pretty surreal since I had been awake for only about 20 minutes and was on the way to the gym. Once we were in traffic on the interstate, the M3 settled down to a somewhat leisurely (for Atlanta rush hour) 70MPH. I dunno what was up his ass, but I really hate tailgaters - it's extremely dangerous, and really prefer not to drive that fast in traffic, but will to lose people like the M3 driver. Needless to say I was good and awake after this little incident.
There was a long thread about the brake warning recently. It's the brake fluid moving in such a way that the sensor thinks the fluid is low - as you come out of the turn all the bells and flashing lights go away as the fluid settles back down.
