Seriously though, there are lot's of sites for estimating the value of a used car. We use alot of http://www.kbb.com Trade in value in "fair" condition is a pretty good guage of actual trade in value. Using fair instead of good or excellent for condition reflects the big incentives availible on new Saabs and it's effect on the late model used market, not the actual condition of your particular car. And that's not just true of Saabs. Very few cars trade at the true wholesale value. Wholesale "book" is just a reference for dealers to compare dissimalar cars of the same ilk, one has a little more equipment, but a little less mileage, an so on.
If you're selling it yourself you still need to look at it's trade in value at fair condition and then you'll know how much more than a dealer would pay are your getting or being offered. Go ahead an ask "My cars retail value", but have the trade in # as a floor.
