I purchased certified 9-3 with 50M miles last week. Very!!! loud noise when going over bumps when cold. Lasted for about 15 minutes. Dealer fixed under warranty. Said bushings were very hard. At first they just blew me off saying that it wasn't a safety issue and wouldn't hurt car. Said no service bulletin. I had to insist and complain a lot. Had to go to salesman who is salavating over the lease return of my 9-5. Mine really loud. Never heard anything like it. Not just a squeak or a temporary thing.
Parts were: 45-43-526, susp bushing; 00-26-575 grease; 46-85-996 screw floor (2); 42-29-811 exh pipe clamp; 42-29-829 exh pipe clamp; 79-78-190 screw (2). Since warranty work I don't have the cost or the labor.
One last question. Tires are "s" rated General Touring a/s. They seem to work OK. Car will be used a lot by kids and I want good snow and ice traction. For my other SAABs I have Nokians and I am tired of switching tires all the time. Should I swap the tires? Thanks. Hope the information about part numbers help.
