Well, lets look at it this way -
the Saab promo/rate was for a base car, 26,525 total sticker, 999 out of pocket, and 299/month. You're car has Launch (~2600), touring (~995) and automatic (~1200). For a sticker of around 31,300.
Your extra down compensates for the extra options (4800 bucks worth) and leaves you with 1500 to play with. They added 30 bucks to the payment to make up for the 1500 difference - not too bad, since 1500 dollars should net you and increase in the area of 40 dollars a month. Based on a LEV of 48%, your payments are in the neighborhood. Of course, Saab lease rates are usually a bit better on 3 yr, rather than four - might you have conveyed something the the salesperson that dictated a 4 yr lease right off the bat? meber, the lease exanplke was a 36month term.
Don't worry about it. To be honest, I am not surprised they would not re-write the lease. At least in NJ, it means they are leasing a used car to you, since all of the DMV paperwork has to be redone. Saab had excellent rates before the promo, too, so don't think you're throwing money out the window. And or maybe 10 bucks a month. Would you have thought differently of the deal if it were 10 dollars more than what you are paying? Not much probably. You obviously were interested in a high 20's/low 30's for an automobile, an insane number to many people. So I would assume the 10 bucks wouldn't make or break the deal. Were not talking a $99.00/mo Corolla here.
Please don't let 10 dollars/month spoil he enjoyment of driving a Saab.
And stop reading the ads after you get your car!!! Trust me, you'll always find a better promo, or so it seems elsewhere. If you are happy with what you are paying, for what you got, it should end there.
I'm sure Mike Lynch will chime in, too.
