Here's a pic of the bald 235/40-17 tire I have on the viggen. It's pretty tight between the tire and strut but clears. I drove it around and didn't hear anything or smell any tire or plastic burning smells. The guy had two but when I got there one of them was actually 18". I went ahead and put the one on the driver side to test with. I'll drive it to work tomorrow and see how it goes, then I'll stick it on the rear. It's tough to see unless you compare this pic with a pic of the stock tire taken at the same angle. Notice with the stock tire you can easily see the front edge of the rim, while you can't with the 235 tire. Another strange thing is there's no pull with the slightly different size tires on each side of the front end.
