Do not use armorall on anything. It traps dirt and the armorall then turns to a hard dirty looking laquer looking mess. So you put more armourall on and it looks good until it hardens.... big time mess! Do not use on tires either.
Do not put things on your dash that will make it shiney. All you will see on a sunny day is reflections of that shiney mess on the dash. I never did anything to my dash in my 95SET. Parked in the Kansas sun all day, 100F outside, who know how hot inside. No problems. I cleaned and dusted it with windex when it needed cleaning. I used a sun screen often.
Exterior trim, does not look deep black when clean. No armourall. Try some other things. Do not get any car wax on the black trim. If you do, peanut oil, wipe then residuals of that will wash off.
