By doing this all the depreciation has already taken place, and you are actually buying the car for the same price other people are leasing at. The only difference might be that your car has some extra miles on it (probably below 25K), but it's still basically the same car.
The dealers already have the whole lease thing down to a science. After 3 or 4 years of lease payments, and then another few years of paying the buyout payments; you end up paying above and beyond the MSRP plus interest. And if you don't end up buying the car, you lose almost 20K in lease payments. Find a pre-owned low mileage SAAB and give it a home. There out there.
