Abbott steering rack brace...Huge Improvement

After installing the Abbott rack brace (stand alone) on my 2001 Viggen I can honestly say the improvement in steering geometry and resulting feedback is huge improvement. I did the Abbott rear sway bar but since I'm still using my winter tires I can't really test that yet. It's amazing when you look at the factory brace and compare it to what Abbott and others on this board have come up with in terms of hardware. The original is nothing more than a 1" wide peice of hardened rubber with an even thinner galvanized steel mounting brace. Now, there is less tendency for the steering wheel to get "light and jumpy" under acceleration and the feeling of mushy-ness in overall steering and response to rough roads is all but eliminated. I have done the following so far; ITG filter, Viggen sport exhaust, rack brace a sway bar. I felt given I only have 20k on the car it wasn't worth trashing the old bushings yet. My next item this summer will be a set of 225 S03's to replace the stock 215 Pirelli's. I realize this sounds like an add for Abbott but the stock steering feel on my car was almost as bad as in my parents Chevy citation I was forced to drive in high school and after driving a loaner 9-5 aero it was even more apparent. It's sad that Saab or the people at TWR racing didn't figure this out after 4 yrs of Viggen production.
