Shake sounds more like a bad CV joint than wheel balance. Get that inspected. Rebuild driveshafts are available. Look for grease thrown about and a split CV joints.
No miles posted.... :( Sounds like bad shocks. If the shocks were replace once already, I would be suspicious that the strut cartridge is loose in the strut tube. There is a large retaining nut that holds it in the tube. If it gets loose, a cold shock will make some pounding or knocking sounds, but as it warms up it can get quiet. But over time, it will not get quiet at it warms up, as the nut moves. It is possible to get at the retaining nut without removing the strut. You might not be able to properly secure the nut this way, but you can see if it is loose or not.
