It works, and works well. You need a spray that will wet the IC fins. This will work better than a real finde spray with the intent of cooling the external air going through. Probably not needed in the winter, and your water would freeze. In the summer you might be able to capture the AC contensate and use that. The rig would have to be disabled in the winter to avoid damage. You don't need a 60-100 psi pump only. With a T7, the benefits would be much less than with a T5. But this might be one of the last things that you do for power mods for most vehicles.
A IC fan would help as well. But there is really no room for one, and the exposure for spraying is not great either.
The main benefit would be in the summer heat. But if you have a T5, a MBC will really help with summer heat turbo lag.
