test drove 9-3 Aero today

I'm slightly embarrassed to admit though that I couldn't tell that much difference between the Linear and the Aero, at least with regards to performance. It's been several weeks since I last drove a Linear, and that was a 5-speed manual linear, whereas this was a 5 speed automatic Aero.
I would like to say that the Aero is a bit faster in doing just about everything, and that force you into the seat kick in the pants acceleration that you would get on an older 9-3 does happen at about 70 mph, where it seemed like the car just took off. (Someone from the dealer was in the car with us so I really couldn't test it like I wanted to.)
The one thing I noticed immediately is that the Aero is very very stiff in comparison to the Linear. You truly feel the bumps, and that doesn't bug me, but I could see it bothering others. Didn't really do many complex maneovres to test how the suspension reacts. However, I felt traction control kicking in far less than I did in the Linear.
The radio does seem to deliver a fuller sound. I brought along a CD to the musical Rent, but I didn't try it out very loudly.
