Don't stress, consult Saab Consumer's Guide... I would say you've got a long way to go until Saab or any other manufacturer would consider replacing the car. The "Lemon Law" is very specific about the number of attempts a dealer gets to make before you can have the car replaced or bought back. There's a book in your owners manual titled "Saab Consumer's Guide. If you browse through it the Massachusetts section has a synopsis of the Lemon Law.
I'm suprised your dealer doesn't have a loaner car program. Perhaps you should call Saab Customer Assistance and inform them that your dealer didn't offer you a loaner. I believe Saab will pay for a rental if no loaner is availible. I know here in San Diego when we run out of loaners (we have 6) Saab will pay for an Enterprise rental. And doesn't Enterprise advertise "We'll pick you up".
It is a very common situation for people to become overly defensive or offensive on behalf of others. It doesn't sound like you have anything to stress about, yet, assuming they fix it in a timely manner. "Stuff" happens. A broken strut does sound very unlikely and it doesn't suprise me that the dealer isn't carrying those parts yet, but with all the modern freight systems, you shoulda' had your parts in a week. Sounds like a very human error or ommision on that score.
