Viggen springs...a good improvement on my '99 9-3 base?

I only ask beacuse I wish to fit my car with 17" rims and 225 width tires. I also want to put some stiffer springs on it. I hear that If I lower the car, the 225 tires could cause some rubbing.

However, it seems 17" 225 tires do not cause rubbing on the Viggen. So, I assume I can get 17 inch rims, w/ 225 rubber and put in Viggen springs, which will lower the car a tad, and stiffen it up, but not be so low that the car rubs.

I was considering the Eibach pro-kit...a 1.2 inch drop. This got me worried about the rubbing. I hear the Viggen springs would drop my base 9-3 about 10 mm. Is this correct?

Also, going to call my dealer to get an idea on the price, and try SAABnet sponsors. Whats the generally accepted going price for a new set? I have heard 200?
