I have had Saabs for years. My father is a former Engineer of GM, so needless to say I feel obligated to buy GM, but I love SAABs so I am not exactly breaking the rules. As I said before, I've had every (GM) Saab since '95. I replaced a 9-5 Aero with the 9-3, and yes, I bought it prior to driving it, and yes I Love it and NO, I am not sorry the Aero is gone. This car is fun, fun like my friend's SPG. It is one of the first cars I can remember driving, where you can hear the Turbo spool and feel the push into the back of your seat, more so than the Aero. (Less curb weight= more punch) It is nimble and like all Saabs, its unlike anything else on the road. It has some of the things that the Saab's have always had, but it is missing some of the things that make Saabs unique. The stereo is not a selling point, if it was, then I wouldn't consider myself a DRIVER. You can always change the speakers, and that is what I was looking for, someone who changed the rears in the 2003 9-3, as nobody in the stereo aftermarket world seems to know what will fit.
