File this under the "No good deed goes unpunished" category. My buddy and I drive to Cape Cod this morning to get his cabin ready for the summer. From here in NY it's about 225 miles, one way. We drive through pouring rain this morning and work in the rain all day. Rivers running through the streets on the Cape but the Saab handles it just fine. We drive home in more rain and eventually, snow. We got three Adrondack chair in the hatch. We get back to his place around 7 pm and I drop him off. My '02 9-3 ran great all day, I love this car. About 1/2 mile away from my house I hit the mother of all potholes. No air in the front right tire, I smell rubber burning. Damn. So I decide I would be better off with my 15" snow instead of the spare and just finished putting it on. The other wheels are 16's. What do you think? Am I going to kill myself, or some innocent? This is just until I get it fixed, hopefully a day or two. Should I go out and put the donut on?
