I have a Viggen convertible. I've also been looking to update my 91 9000 to a 9-5 Aero (if my wife will let me) and have driven many of them over the last few months. The Auto aero is nice, but it's NOT like a 5 speed. The vig is a blast to drive but IMHO the Aero is a bit better. It's way more refined, the chasis is stiffer, much quieter at speed,it has independent rear suspension, the seats after 2002 are almost up to viggen or past aero standards. They are safer and they are every bit as fast. The five speed aero has an overboost feature that the vig does not have, it alows about 275 lb ft of torque for up to 20 seconds or so. When you ad in the aero only's(esp, back up warning, HID lights, dual climate control, wagon, heated rear seats) you get more for the money. Although when it's all said and done, I'm not willing to give up the vig for the aero, so that should tell you something.
