I think ANY excuse is good enough.
> Do the math, calculate the cost of a complete stock system (with near no warranty, figure you will have to pay $$ to replace it with 2 years [depending on where you live]) then calculate the cost of a sports exhaust with a lifetime warranty... it turns out to be a no-brainer.
> I was worried most about noise--I'm not into "sounding" fast or even any sort of rumbling--In all honestly, the sports exhaust is quieter and more soothing guff than the pin size hole that was in my mid muffler...
> and if you can work a ratchet, you can do it yourself--I did mine in about 1 and a half hours... which reminds me--anybody have a suggestion on how get the exhaust to tuck up deeper into the cutout? mine seems to be sagging where it makes that near 90deg turn towards the drivers side rear wheel-- Maybe not as easy as i say =) he he he
Good luck
