I had the same problem, and since mine is a certified used Saab, I took it to the dealer for repair. They said it would be 2 weeks, as they had to send it away. After 2 weeks all I got was a call to say it would cost $325 since they claimed "beverage" was in the unit, which is unlikely since I don't use the flimsy cupholder. Nearly 8 weeks later I finally got my player back with a total bill of over $400 (added removal and installation charges). If I didn't want to give up the steering wheel controls, I would have been much better of with a new head unit, especially since I recently got "error code 2" when playing a CD! The dealer says it would be at least another 4 weeks if I send it in again! I bought the kit for an aftermarket installation from Taliafero, so I'll be ready when it fails again completely...
