I personally think (silly me) that driving a SAAB is usually members who really seriously and extremely into driving.
I have been driving stick for the past 10yrs-4 cars (2 of them Saabs) but when I move to HK, I started with an auto due to the scary stories on traffic.
I feel sorry every time I step into my car. I am looking to sell my auto and go back to stick. The sad part of the story is that there is no stick Saab here in HK. I might have to go for the Sentronic 97' NG900SE. This Sentronic model was not sold in the US, basically it's a 5 speed without the clutch pedal.
I don't know what to expect but for the love of SAAB and STICK, I am willing to take a shot.
I read somewhere up in the thread that a stick is better in traffic. TRUE.
I have also taught all my female friends to drive a STICK because I believe driving a stick would make them better driver!!
Auto take some of the fun, control, and challenge out of driving. I truely enjoy driving and I was able to handle SF traffic and Stick and phone or smoke.
Love you all
