Front Brakes NoNo

Just got finished replacing the pads and refacing the rotors on my wife's 2001 9-3. I have a confortable amount of experience doing this job on my 900's and 9000's (up through '96). Thought that the job went well except that when I got in the car to test the brakes the pedal was very low.
At first I thought that air had gotten into the lines when I bled off the old fluid. So, I tried bleeding the brakes - with no improvement. There was nothing posted on this BB or on the NG900 board about a problem other than bleeding. In searching the 9-5 board came across a post from a fellow, who was having the same problem. Turned out that he - and I - had installed the anti-rattle springs on wrong. Yes, it's very easy to do. In fact the springs are easier to put on the wrong way that the right way.
Any way, the problem is solved. So, perhaps someone in their write-ups on brake pad change-outs should include a reference about these little buggers.
