I am the only dummy that didn't know this?

The lug bolts on an "OG 9-3" are covered with nice, shiny, black plastic caps.
I spent more time than I want to admit futzing with changing a tire yesterday than I would like to admit until I figured this out. I get the lug wrench out of the trunk and to my amazement it is the wrong size (so I thought at the time). Why wouldn't the technical writers help a brother out and mention this in the owners manual?
For those of you that would prefer not to mark up your wheels I suggest carrying a 22mm deep well socket in with the other tools to slip over the plastic caps and twist them off....I thought of this after trying to pry two of them off with a small screwdriver without messing up the wheel.
Then and only then, you will see the "real" bolts. Jeez!
Just sharing,
Todd
