My New Vector 2003 Picked Up Today/Questions

Today I picked up my new Saab Vector 2003 9-3. I LOVE the car. I have two small problems---I can not seem to get the rear fog light to go on. I have seen the front fog lights as being on and working. Both buttons are engaged on the control panel...but there is no light in the rear. What should I do? I may need to stop at the dealer tomorrow and ask for help.
Also, I have a 1995 Craftsman Garage Door Opener with a remote control with a LED> I finally got the LED to light up on the rear view mirror of the Vector (I had to wait until it was dark enough to see it). I followed the instructions and waited and waited for it to start blinking rapidly while pushing the remote control from the garage door opener. It did not seem to ever get to blinking 'rapidly' as per the manual. I do not have a rolling code garage door opener. Does anyone have any advice?
Otherwise I love the car--it has all the bells and whistles except for the touring package (parking assist, etc).
Thanks for your help.
