of you who have helped out in the past couple months, and put up with my often childlike frustrations . =) the Saab community continues to amaze me...
I'm hoping I found a clue to the problems I've been having *fingers crossed* Tonight, I was putting up the windows, drivers side and passenger side at the same time. When the windows were completely closed, I had the buttons still on (up position), and I noticed that the reverse lights (the car was in reverse at the time) dimmed quite a bit, and the engine stumbled in it's idle--the rpm guage taking a dip down to aound 500. I just read a few posts on the 9-3's being specific about their power supply. Perhaps I'm somewhat desperate and making a mountain out of a molehill but it seems to make sense that it could be a power supply issue. That would explain the stumbling when the heater/AC blowers are on high. But NOT explain the random misses waiting at lights[?] (see full story here:http://www.saabnet.com/tsn/bb/9-3/index.html?bID=56057)
I'm going to go have the battery tested tommorrow and see if it's holding it's charge...
Anyway, wanted to share and see what you all thought.
Again, thanks for the help, so far, you all are the only ones who have kept me from driving the car into the lake...
