Got my vert back from the dealer(again). Everything seemed to have been repaired OK. After removing the rear seat, I then knelt down into a nice puddle of nasty hydraulic fluid. Apparently, when one of the lines were loose or had ruptured during the dealer repair, they neglected to clean under the seat. I then examined the cushion underneath, nicely saturated. Proceeded to finish the mounting brackets for the windscreen. Getting the rear panels out was a tad tricky. but not too troublesome. One casualty- an alignment peg.(I knelt on it!) I will replace it when I swap out my rear speakers later. Another footnote to the repairs done- when they replaced my faulty remote, they reactivated the alarm chirps I had disabled earlier. I will ask them about that, and the seat. Does anyone think I am entitled to a new one? Man they must be sick of me. I probably didn't help my cause by informing the service advisor that I believed his staff lacked attention to detail. Guess I was wrong, huh? Thanks.
