Based on a few recommendations here, I bought the windscreen for my '03 convertible. Got it from Talliaferro Saab in just a few days (and that's when he was out of stock - excellent fast service, and Nick's follow-ups to e-mailed questions are as close to instant gratification as you can get)

Since the 02 and up have the mounting holes pre-installed, I didn't have to do any installation - just take it out of the leather bag and pop it in. Took me a few minutes to figure out where the metal "teeth" went (under the headrests). It fits in the trunk (you have to angle it to get it in, then it straightens out), and can be raised and lowered when it's installed by reaching back and pulling it up or down.

As for performance with the windows and top down, I admit it wasn't as significant as I was expecting based on the previous reviews, but it's very good. I think I'm so tall (6'3") that the top of my head is past the zone where it reduces the wind the most, but it definitely helps keep the car warmer. My better half likes it as well - she thinks I'm nuts to put the top down on 50 degree days, but this helps a lot. With the windows up, though, it's very calm inside the car. Easy to carry on a conversation, very little wind noise, and almost no buffetting, other than the top of my head.

I put the top down any time it's remotely sunny or warm (cloudy and 50 or sunny and 45), so it's probably worth more to me than less-frequent top-downers. Even so, I would say it's probably not worth the MSRP of $465, but at Nick's price of $381, it's a good buy. Because it is a (slight) pain to put it in and take it out, it will probably collect dust if you carry more than one passenger frequently, as it does take up the rear seat.
