Per the web site...
No-Charge Scheduled Maintenance, 3 years/36,000 miles
For three years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first, this program covers routine service for your new Saab at an authorized Saab dealer in the United States for all factory-recommended scheduled maintenance (excluding wear-and-tear items). The program is vehicle-specific, regardless of owner, and is not transferable to another vehicle. See the Warranties and Service Record Booklet for complete details. It may be suspended or terminated for future Saab vehicles at any time without notice
The 2003 9-3 SS factory recommendation for oil changes is to do the service when the "change the oil" message comes up on the SID. That's b/c the car is equipped with onboard oil monitoring software that measures the engine's vitals and calculates when to chage. If the "change" light ain't on, it ain't free. You can, however, get a read out of what percentage of the oil's life is calculated to have been used up and plan accordingly.
