As some people may or may not know, I just got a viggen delivered from FL that had been delayed many many times.

Now, after 2 days of getting it. Probably, one of the biggest hail storm in history (very very old people told me they have never seen anything like it) hits midwest, where I'm just about to get out of from finishing the college. Since as many college students do, I live in a shack and don't have a garage. The sizes of the hail were with no exaggeration of the baseball size in average. Man, I was home when it happened, and I thought my old creaky house was collapsing. But, that was not what was going on in my mind. Of course, the viggen sittin outside right in front of me that was delivered two days ago and that I spent a whole night without sleep reading the manual in was being battered right in front of my eyes! Aaaaaahhhhhh! That was what I was saying.

Met the insurance agent yesterday. Of course they were very impressed with the car and was very sorry what happened. BTW, very nice people from Progressive. They counted even the smallest dents which even I could not see and came up with about $1100. And, of course I went for the max deductible ($1000) in a move to save as much as possible. I'm a student. Saving money is the first priority. I decided to not get the $100 check from them. I thought they would increase the premium after 6 month more than $100 if I had gotten the check. So, I have to fix it myself. I think somewhere between $500 and $1000 will do. Now I'll have to save all summer to do that. Any serious recommendation from you guy about fixing the dents? Can I do the fundraising here? It will be called Unfortunate Borami Viggen fund. If anyone's interested send the money to um @ grinnell.edu (paypal) without spaces.

Man, now I wish the car got here several days later... :-)
