We went thru both Woodland Park & Green Mtn Falls & took a left at Divide's traffic light. After about 5+mi there's a fork off 24 to the right & another 2+mi there's a guy who's built three "luxury cabins" up in the canyon (behind his house). Beautiful place (especially with windows open at night & the creek only 15ft away!), but the owner's new to this kind of "service industry" & still needs to work out a LOT of the finer points of high-end amenities.

The second night we paid the same price to stay at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort (in Colorado Springs) & everyone there did an excellent job. Obviously, the two environments are completely different (we weren't looking for them to be the same), but there are simple, specific things which dramatically affect your overall impression. The details make all the difference!
