I'm not sure about the 2000 year model, but the 2001 had a Sport Package upgrade that had bigger wheels (17") and slightly better performance suspension. My SE (no Sport Package) is pretty tight and handles the corners comfortably, but I wouldn't push it too hard. When I DO push my SE hard it tends to exhibit a bit of body roll and it understeers a bit... however, I've never been able to break it loose. In my opinion, the SE is the best balance of performance and comfort for daily driving. I sometimes think the Sport Package upgrade would have been nice, but I probably would have gotten tired of the rougher ride over time. On the other hand, it goes so fast in a straight line that it more than makes up for it's sluggish cornering abilities. The commercials are right, the turbo charged engine is addictive! :-D
Hope that helped,
Bill
