I have a brand new 2003 9-3 SS Vector with the sports suspension and all the other bells and whistles. I've had it for about 6 weeks and it now has 2000 miles on it.

It is black (not my first choice of color but it was the only one on the lot). I do not have the time to wash the car by hand each weekend, although I do have, as the manual recommends, a brush that shoots water through it that I have been using to rinse the car off with.

We've had so much rain lately that the tires and the car in general is a real mess.

I've been taking my other cars to a "touchless" car wash that does a really good job (washed by machine, detailed by workers). They do the Armour All tire coating, clean the rims, wipe down the dash.

My Vector has the Saab 9-3 'metal' dash accents and the leather seats.

My concerns are: is the suspension too low to go through a car wash? The front of the Vector seems pretty low to the ground. I also have the 17" rims and tires. I would assume a good tire rim cleaner and armour all would work on those?? What do people do to clean the interior dash and metal trim?

Would you trust a car wash? As I said, they did a beautiful job on all my previous cars--they really shined afterwards.

Any advice would be helpful. As I said, I do not have the time to do the car myself (I am a clergyman and my schedule is very full on weekends and during the week).

BTW, the kids in my Church love the car (as do many of their parents)!
