See if your state has a lemon law. I'd pursue this since it seems to me that Saab has absolutely no interest or concern about resolving your problems. I've dealt with their legal department (where they steered me to resolve the problem, not my choice) but was told since my problems weren't directly related to the operation of the car (i.e. engine failure, transmission failure, etc) that they wouldn't do anything for me. GREAT customer service! Maybe they will be up for a Malcom Baldridge award for customer service this year!
I guess they figure since you get a loaner car, you shouldn't be angry that this is happening. Forget about all of the stress and inconvenience we put our customers through, they should just be happy that we don't charge them for a rental car!
Really, Saab just doesn't get it. And now that they are trying to reach out to a more "mainstream" audience, they just don't realize that their new target audience is LESS likely to put up with the "nuances" of owning a Saab (failed DI cassettes, loss of power, rattles, etc.) as compared to the traditional "Loyal" Saab faithful.
Ignore the problem (the unhappy customer) and it will go away. Along with all of their sales.
