You would have the auto up and sunroof control as well as a passenger power seat if you bought the Arc or Vector, not available in the Linear. The button above the ESP will probably be for the nav system. The box in the back is either the amplifier for the front door speakers or its the brains to OnStar. The Infortainment is crap, and I think it is a Europe only thing and they gave it to us anyway. Get some miles on the car, the shift points will change. The 3/4 opening is the optimum place for the sunroof open at 60 mph to minimize wind noise. Be nice to your tech, and tech 2 will be free, otherwise they will charge by the hour. Some of the tech 2 options are not "advised" in the US; i.e. Daytime running lights, which by the way, is the first thing I had done and wow does it look cool with just the parking lights and fogs only.
What other Tech 2's are you thinking of having done? You can also have the alarm chirps added to the lock/unlock/trunk thing.
