There were many reports of heavy and early wear on the 9-5's. Many elected to replace the pads pro-actively with EBC greenstuff pads. I pulled my factory front pads at 162 miles and the rears later on. genuinesaab, com has these and you can compare years of application there too. With a 9-5 Aero or Viggen, there seems to be no aftermarket choices for the rotors, so the economics lean heavily towards replacing the pads with ones that are less abrasive. And the oem pads produce brake dust like crazy and the EBCs product little dust. You know what the brake dust is?.. your rotors.
After getting over 130,000 miles on my oem 95SET pads I was definately not interested in what others had experienced with the new oem pads.
