I've been using Arnold now since my dealer closed down. What salesman did you get? Perhaps its because we bought my parents 9-5 new there. My 9-3 was gotten new at a different dealer new. I guess maybe they aren't as friendly when selling used cars.

My impression is that they are nice, but somewhat unexperienced with SAABs still. They have only been doing SAAB for about a year now. I had a service done today, and I like to bring my own oil....Mobil-1 synthetic, 5-w30. The service guy asked what kind of oil I brought, and when I told him he said that it wasn't SAAB spec. I had to inform him that, yes, SAAB specifies a semi-synthetic, and I just like to go beyond that.

Anyway, we are trying to get an LI SAAB get together happening. So far we have myself ('99 9-3), Steve who posts on the boards ('01 9-3) and my brother (1990 SPG)...and a few other people have shown interest. I don't know if you have heard of Deer Park Avenue, but its basically the most famous cruise strip on the northeast. Every fri and sat night, all kinds of cars are out there, from ricers, to muscle cars, to european sport sedans, even some Porsches and the occasional Ferrari. SAAB needs a prescence there. If you are ever around LI, it'd be cool to do this sometime.
