Well I duno bout you, but I think patients is overrated.
And a BPV, or BOV, or hybrid combo valve is never really a “performance enhancing part”. Not on it’s own anyway. (except for the 25+ Fast/Furious HP from the Pfsst sound)
A new bpv is needed if your running, or plan to run much more then stock boost. The T7 has a lot of problems with a BOV due to the air mass meter, But supposedly the hybrid bpv/bov valves do work with systems that have an AMM (manufacturers claims).
“Save the money & enjoy the car just the way Saab built it. Be sure to research before doing anything because many aftermarket changes are not all they are advertised to be.”
I agree to do a lot of research as there are many “snake oil” type products out there that could do very little for your car but might cost a lot.. BUT I vehemently disagree with the first sentence. As a 26 year old who autocrosses their car. Saab’s mid 40 year old demographic and me have about 2 things in common. So there is a lot to Saabs that I think is great, but TON’S more that could be improved upon. I plan on enjoying a car that is MUCH better then “the way GM built it”
