Forge Byass Valve fixed Mooing! and Perf. Bonus

Well, I installed my new Forge bypass valve yesterday. I know now for certain that my stock Bosch valve was shot. It seems that almost all aspects of boost have been improved. My boost gauge now goes into the red a little bit. Just like it did prior to the mods I made. (Vigen IC, SAAB Sport Exhaust, 3" intake, K&N filter, and TBTC porting) I think my stock valve must have been on the way out when I made the mods. Then the mods must have pushed it over the edge.
I made a post not all that long ago regarding degraded performance and another mentioning a "Mooing" sound under the hood. The Forge valve has defintely taken care of both. One question I have is this: is there a noticeable benefit to installing the valve in reverse? I've read about this on the performance board, but could not really find a definitive answer.
Thanks for listening,
SR
