It cost me a lot just to do it myself!!
I have 5,500 miles on the car and decided that I didn't want to wait for the 1st change.
Here is what you need (or at least here is what Saab says is needed):
-Oil Filter ($11 at dealer)
-Oil Filter Cap Gasket ($5.80 at dealer, NOT necessary each change)
-Drain Plug Gasket ($2.90 at dealer, NOT necessary as long as old one is not cracked or worn)
-Oil, 6.3 quarts = 7 bottles ($30)
The other tools I needed to do this:
-15mm Socket
-32mm Socket and 8" extension piece to remove the oil filter cap.
-torx screwdriver to remove engine cover.
When all is said and done this oil change cost about $50, and that's all parts and oil at retail price. For the time I spent hunting down supplies and doing the change, $75 does seem a little high, but not ridiculous.
I will let Saab take care of the rest of these changes until the warranty runs out. It was fun though......
