So here I was driving from NY to Chicago (815 miles) and I have my Valentine One going strong. I'm cruising around 90 mph when I pass a string of cars going around 75. This M5 suddenly pulls away from the group and gets on my ass. After around 15 miles or so (I keep on going 90), I decide to let him lead a little. Of course he decides to go down to 75 so I would pass him and be the sacrificial lamb if a cop happens to clock us. I then take the lead again at 90 until he decides he wants to show me just how fast he could go. He pulls away from me like a rocket. I try to keep up and let up at 125 mph, though he was already 1000 feet ahead of me and pullng away rappidly. It was no contest. He tried to play this way with me until we hit the IN border, but I didnt really bite, as it wasnt too safe and he was only trying to show me what his 80K car could do to my 30K car. He then pulled over after the toll to switch drivers and I kept going my 90. Less than 2 miles into IN my trusty Valentine One picked up a trooper and I slamed on the brakes and cruised past him within 5 mph of the speed limit. The M5, who was tailing my ass the entire time was trying to catch up to me, didn't see the cop and was pulled over for going at least 90. They are still probably getting cavity searched by the cops as I write this. I would think that with an 80K car they would at least flip for a good radar detector. Hmmm...
