There are 4 (or 5?) torx screws around the lid of the box, I think they're T25. Then there's one clip just underneath the air duct. I take off the rubber air duct (hose clamps at both ends) because that makes it easier to lift the lid of the filter box without much wrestling.
There's a wire loom across one side of the lid, almost covering one of the screws. But you don't have to disconnect it if you can get a torx screwdriver on the screws.
The AMM has screens to protect it. Sure it's expensive, but if you don't poke anything thru the screens or drop it on the floor, it should be OK.
I think(?) mine had the filter element # stamped inside the box. But I thought it was earlier years that had multiiple filter typer?
